This petition notes that Matthew Patrick MP and the undersigned calls on Wirral Borough Council to install a privacy screen in West Kirby Concourse Swimming Pool.
Young girls in our community have highlighted their experiences with using the Concourse swimming pool, being made to feel uncomfortable because people are able to see in as they pass by.
This issue has stopped some young women from using the facilities.
Wirral Borough Council has a duty of care to ensure everyone using the space feels welcomed, comfortable and able to participate in community life.
A privacy screen would give women dignity to use the pool, whilst providing privacy to all users including young children and families.
